Are you a Glass Breaker?
We want your stories! Our Glass Breaker series follows women, both career professionals and business owners, in a “week in the life” perspective. Our goal is to open women’s eyes to other opportunities and the reality of what the day to day looks like for entrepreneurs and career professionals. We think this perspective is particularly important for new graduates - to see what different jobs look like or what its like to run a business.

You will track your week of activities - and we want to know it all - from waking up to spending time with your friends, we truly want to know what life looks like. We will also have a few questions that we’d love to have you answer, including salary. We're only looking for your work week - so if you work 5 days a week, share with us those 5 days - if you work 7, we want to hear about your hard work! See the example below.
We will edit for clarity and writing styles so they are aligned with the Glass Ceilings Brand, but all the content will be driven from you!
However you wish to present the information to us, you’re welcome to do so. Think of it though as a work diary!

Avoid sharing details about clients, customers and coworkers. You’re welcome to share some details about what it is you’re working on, but keep privacy in mind - unless you get permission.
Details like breaks and commutes are interesting! Don’t leave them out. Sometimes we don’t get many so how we use them differently can give insight on different workstyles.
We want to hear how you balance life and work - this includes social plans, working out and healthy habits! Share those with us too.
Don’t worry about making it sound nice - just provide as much detail as you can and we’ll take it from there.
